About The Position

Worcester Rehabilitation & Health Care Center is hiring per diem Occupational Therapists. The Occupational Therapist works with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that promote patient independence, strength, and overall well-being. The role also participates in clinical team meetings and decision-making to support clear communication and effective care delivery.

The position is based at a rehabilitation center in Worcester, Massachusetts. The job posting offers pay of up to $50 per hour with weekly pay. New graduates are welcome.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Continuing education units (CEUs) as required by state licensure requirements.
• Maintain appropriate licensing requirements for the applicable state.
• Ability to function effectively in a multifaceted system and interact effectively with all levels of staff and customers.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for significant amounts of time.
• Ability to perform documentation tasks, manipulate equipment, and provide direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Screen patients and residents and evaluate their needs, developing appropriate care plans.
• Provide direct patient treatment in accordance with established plans of care.
• Participate in clinical team meetings and decision-making processes.
• Consult with and train patients, residents, and caregivers.
• Document activities and patient progress using the company clinical documentation system.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations.
• Communicate effectively with patients, residents, team members, and customers.
