About The Position
Innovate Rehab and Wellness is seeking a Licensed PRN Occupational Therapist for a Skilled Nursing Facility in Brunswick, MO. This PRN (as-needed) position offers flexible shifts with a focus on one-on-one patient care, aiming for a realistic daily schedule to support work-life balance. Requirements
- Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy (accredited program)
- Valid state OT license
- CPR certification preferred
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Passion for patient-centered care
Nice To Haves
- Experience as an OT preferred (new grads welcome)
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough OT evaluations
- Develop and adjust personalized treatment plans
- Use therapeutic techniques and adaptive equipment
- Train patients and caregivers on exercises and assistive devices
- Educate on strategies to improve function and safety
- Collaborate with PT, SLP, physicians, and the full care team
- Document patient progress and treatment changes accurately
- Stay current with OT best practices and research
