About The Position

Exploration Kids Therapy, in partnership with Swann Clinic for Behavioral Health and Pediatric Psychology Services of Colorado, is expanding its services across the western slope of Colorado. As a multidisciplinary clinic specializing in early intensive behavioral intervention (EIBI), we have established locations in Glenwood Springs, Rifle, Montrose, Delta, Gunnison, Clifton, and Grand Junction, Colorado. We are an energetic, cohesive, and supportive team dedicated to empowering children and their families through holistic, integrated, and neurodiversity-affirming care. Our clinics foster a collaborative, respectful, and learning-focused environment where clinicians can make a significant impact and witness meaningful progress in their clients. This specific position is offered through Exploration Kids Therapy in Delta, a specialty therapy organization. The caseload will involve direct therapy for children referred by community partners, such as pediatricians and other support organizations.

Requirements

Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
NBCOT Certification and Colorado state licensure (or eligibility for licensure).
Minimum of 2 years of experience working with neurodivergent clients (ASD, ADHD, Developmental Delays, etc.) preferred, but new graduates with a strong passion for neurodiversity-affirming care are encouraged to apply.
Knowledge of sensory processing, self-regulation, and fine/gross motor development.
Strong communication and collaboration skills—teamwork is highly valued.
Passion for neurodiversity-affirming care and child-led interventions.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services in-clinic and via telehealth.
Work with neurodivergent clients, including those with autism, ADHD, developmental delays, sensory processing challenges, and other conditions.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focusing on sensory regulation, fine and gross motor skills, self-care, and self-regulation.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of therapists to provide integrated care.
Engage with families to support skill development beyond therapy sessions.
