Occupational Therapist
About The Position
Carolina Pediatric Therapy is seeking a Full-Time Occupational Therapist to join their team in Western North Carolina. This role focuses on providing integrated care for children from birth through age 21, emphasizing collaboration, professional development, and sustainable practice. The position offers protected time for planning and documentation, mentorship, interdisciplinary collaboration, and flexible practice settings including clinics, schools, daycares, homes, community settings, and telehealth. Clinicians will have a designated 'Home Clinic' for resources and a sense of belonging.
Requirements
- Licensed Occupational Therapist in North Carolina
- Value collaboration, continued learning, and child- and family-centered care
Nice To Haves
- 1+ years of experience preferred
- Strong pediatric candidates with less experience are encouraged to apply
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat children with a wide range of developmental, sensory, and motor-based needs.
- Utilize engaging, evidence-based interventions to help children participate more fully in everyday life, including play, learning, self-care, sensory processing, and motor development.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to share ideas, solve problems, and support one another.
