About The Position

Sentara is hiring an Outpatient Occupational Therapist in Williamsburg, Virginia. This is a Full-Time, Day shift opportunity with great benefits. Sentara is a large not-for-profit Healthcare System in Virginia and Eastern North Carolina with 12 Acute Care Hospitals and a medical group. They have opportunities for therapists to work in multiple settings including: Acute Care, Inpatient Rehab, Outpatient Therapy (55 locations: orthopedics, neurological and pediatrics), Home Care and PACE. Requirements

• Bachelor's Level Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Active Occupational Therapy Licensure
• Basic Life Safety (BLS)

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve functional mobility, relieve pain, improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury, and help build or restore vocational/ daily living skills as well as general independence.
• Provide age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers.
• Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members.
