About The Position
SportsMed is a rapidly growing multidisciplinary practice in the Northeast, offering Chiropractic, Physical Therapy, Occupational Hand Therapy, and Acupuncture services. We cater to a diverse patient population, including those with sports-related injuries, post-surgical conditions, elderly individuals, and desk workers. The Occupational Therapist will organize and conduct occupational therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation, directing patient participation in tasks to enhance performance and promote adaptation and productivity to diminish or correct pathology.
Requirements
- Connecticut Occupational Therapy License
- Computer Literacy
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills

Responsibilities
- Treat a variety of hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder injuries and post-op
- Perform initial evaluations, establish recovery goals, and develop plans of care based on findings
- Document all evaluations and treatments
- Educate patients and appropriate parties on evaluations and treatment plans
- Maintain effective communication with patients, SportsMed providers, and other team members.
