The Occupational Therapist is responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing evidence-based occupational therapy interventions for infants, children, and young adults within Totally Kids (Acute, Subacute, Outpatient & Circlebrook). The Occupational Therapist collaborates closely with an interdisciplinary team—including physicians, nurses, physical and speech therapists, respiratory therapists, and case managers—to promote each patient’s ability to participate in meaningful daily activities and maximize independence in self-care, play, and school-related tasks. This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse pediatric population, including those with complex medical conditions, neuromuscular disorders, developmental delays, post-surgical needs, and traumatic injuries. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The employee shall support the organization strategic plan, the goals and direction of the quality assurance performance improvement process, and activities.
