About The Position

Austill's Educational Therapy Services, a leading provider of school-based related services in southeastern PA, is seeking a pediatric Occupational Therapist (OTR) to work with preschool students in specialized autistic support classrooms in Pottstown and Abington, PA, for the summer session (7/6-8/7/2026). Austill's has been providing school-based therapy services for over 40 years and is dedicated to enhancing the lives of students through high-quality educational therapy services. They prioritize therapists' work-life balance, offering guidance and clinical support through experienced Educational Therapy Managers and a Peer Mentor Program. Austill's stays updated with new educational practices and maintains strong relationships with regional universities and community groups through their Clinical Fieldwork Program and service projects.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy educational program.
  • Valid Pennsylvania Occupational Therapist License
  • Passion for working with children and a clear dedication to helping them maximize their potential
  • Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills
  • Exceptional desire to be a collaborative team member, learn, and grow
  • All clearances must be completed within one year of the start date unless otherwise indicated.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct therapy to students from preschool to grade 12.
  • Consult with teachers, other therapists, support staff, and families to facilitate classroom participation and maximize the student’s potential.
  • Fulfill documentation requirements, including data collection, progress updates for marking periods, and yearly IEP revisions with updated goals and treatment strategies.
  • Attend IEP meetings as recommended.
  • Travel may be required throughout the school day.
