About The Position

Theracare is hiring an Occupational Therapist to provide school-based therapy services in the Mooresville School Systems. The position is part-time, two days a week at a middle/high school. Theracare is an employee-owned Indiana provider of contract physical, occupational, and speech therapy services, serving the community since 1996.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science or advanced degree in Occupational Therapy.
Current state license or certification.
Current registration with the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board.
Excellent oral, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
Competency in applying the principles, methods, materials, and equipment used in occupational therapy.
Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements.

Nice To Haves

A minimum of one year of rehabilitation experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide occupational therapy services in the Mooresville School Systems two days a week at a middle/high school.
Be willing to provide therapy services in settings that may include skilled nursing facilities, outpatient facilities, long-term care facilities, or home health care.
