About The Position
Merkel Nursing Center is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join its in-house therapy team. The center is a long-term care and post-acute rehabilitation facility in Merkel, Texas, and offers the opportunity to work with an in-house team of therapists, collaborate with a rehab director, and address a wide range of conditions. The position is supported by Vital Therapy, which provides therapy support and leadership to 85 locations throughout Texas and Oklahoma. The organization emphasizes quality of care, patient and resident well-being, and developing and supporting leaders. Full-time, part-time, and PRN schedules are available.
Requirements
- Texas license.

Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to patients and residents in a long-term care and post-acute rehabilitation facility.
- Create and implement therapy programs to fit patients’ needs.
