About The Position

This role involves providing consultative and rehabilitative treatment services to complex patients admitted to American Family Children’s Hospital, East Madison Hospital, and University Hospital in acute care settings. The Occupational Therapist will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to create comprehensive, evidence-based treatment plans to maximize functional outcomes and discharge plans. The position operates within the context of patient- and family- centered care in a primary and specialty care academic medical center. The role also involves seeking continual learning opportunities to advance one’s own practice and educate others.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy Required
• Licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the State of Wisconsin Upon Hire Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 3 months Required

Nice To Haves

• 2 years prior relevant experience Preferred
