Requirements

• A valid Texas state license to practice Occupational Therapy and adherence to the Texas Practice Act & Rules and AOTA Code of Ethics.
• Experience (or passion to gain experience!) working with children and families in a therapeutic setting.
• A knack for promoting independence with gross/fine motor skills, sensory regulation, and cognitive development.
• Skilled in promoting independence across gross/fine motor, sensory regulation, and cognitive development.
• Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
• A commitment to professional growth and evidence-based practices.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat diverse pediatric needs , including developmental delays, neurological conditions, sensory processing challenges, and more.
• Develop individualized Plans of Care to help your clients thrive in daily activities like play, education, self-care, and social participation.
• Collaborate with families for skill carryover and resources.
• Stay current with professional development and evidence-based practices.
• Maintain documentation , adhering to HIPAA guidelines and ethical practices.
