Occupational Therapist (OT) - Home Health - Full Time
About The Position
Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide home-based care. Occupational Therapists help patients with debilitating conditions improve their ability to perform everyday tasks at home. They use treatments to develop patients’ daily living skills and basic motor functions, and to help compensate for loss of function. They provide skilled care to clients who require intermittent professional services and teach family members and other members of the health care team. Services are delivered in accordance with physicians’ orders and the established plan of care, under the direction and supervision of the Branch Director.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved school of Occupational Therapy.
- Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the state where the employee practices.
Nice To Haves
- A minimum of one year of experience is preferred; less experience may be accepted with approval from the Regional Vice President and/or Regional Director of Therapy Services based on prior experience setting.
- Medicare home health experience is preferred.
