Occupational Therapist Staff | NYP-CUIMC | Part-Time | Day Shift

In this role, the Occupational Therapist will evaluate, plan and provide treatment programs for patients whose injury, disease, or loss of body part interferes with daily functioning. This position serves orthopedics, neurology/neurosurgery, medicine, transplant, cardiac, and oncology areas within Milstein Building to provide skilled intervention using a variety of techniques that are appropriate to achieving the identified goals. You'll have the opportunity to work in adult acute care. Work with a dynamic, experienced staff, caring for a diverse population. This is a Monday-Friday position, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., with pre-scheduled shifts on weekends and holidays required as part of the PHOTA contract.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- At least 2 years experience in a hospital, adult, acute care environment.
- New York State Occupational Therapist License.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
