About The Position

Select Physical Therapy is seeking a full-time Hand Therapist-Occupational Therapist or Physical Therapist for their outpatient orthopedic center located at 200 NW 66th St, Ste 900, Oklahoma City, OK 73116. The position offers a compensation range of $85,000-$100,000, depending on experience, along with incentives such as up to a $20,000 sign-on bonus and $350 per month in uncapped student debt relief. While a certified hand therapist (CHT) is preferred, the company is open to considering occupational therapists with a level II fieldwork in hands. Select Physical Therapy provides a supportive network of hand therapists and CHTs and offers mentorship for occupational therapists aspiring to achieve CHT credentials. The company's national hand therapy program is extensive, operating in 32 states with over 300 CHTs and 300 hand therapists nationwide.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) -accredited school of occupational therapy
  • CPR certification
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Level II fieldwork in hands (required for occupational therapists if not CHT)

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Hand Therapist (CHT)
  • At least two years of experience in the application of custom splinting pre and post-op orthopedic
  • Minimum two years in adult rehabilitation; hand and splinting experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Supervise assistants and aides and contribute to case management.
  • Stay current and up to date with occupational therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception).
  • Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment, from evaluating and creating a plan of care to treatment and discharge.
  • Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients.
  • Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff.
