About The Position
This position is for an Occupational Therapist (OT) in a hospital-based outpatient rehabilitation department, specializing in lymphedema care. The OT will work collaboratively with other rehabilitation professionals, including OTs/OTAs, PT/PTAs, and SLPs, and will also interact with a compression fitter and lymphedema vendors. The patient population ranges from young adults to geriatrics with a mix of diagnoses, including those requiring lymphedema care. The role is located at the Piedmont Wellness Center.
Requirements
- Certified in lymphedema.
- Licensed in the state of Georgia.
- Minimum 1 year of experience.
- Full compliance required to start on time.
- Must be able to work assigned holidays.

Responsibilities
- Work with OTs/OTAs, PT/PTAs and SLP on a regular basis.
- Collaborate within a wound care clinic.
- Work with compression fitter and lymphedema vendors.
- Provide care to young/middle adults to geriatrics with a mix of diagnoses including patients requiring lymphedema care.
- Provide care to hospital-based outpatient lymphedema patient population.
- Float within facility/scope of practice to Piedmont Fayette (Acute Care Inpatient facility) as needed.
