Requirements
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current or eligible for New York State OT license
- NBCOT certification (or eligible)
- Interest in outpatient rehabilitation and diverse caseloads
Nice To Haves
- Hand therapy experience a plus but not required
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat outpatient clients across a diverse caseload including upper extremity rehabilitation, hand therapy, neurological conditions, work hardening, and functional capacity evaluations.
- Design creative, evidence-based treatment plans, fabricate custom splints when needed, and educate patients and families on home programs and adaptive strategies.
- Have dedicated one-on-one time with each patient.
