About The Position
PAM Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join their team and care for a diverse patient population, specifically chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care. The ideal candidate will have prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn. The role involves direct patient care, planning, and implementing specific age-appropriate treatment programs according to the principles and practices of occupational therapy within the PAM Health System. The Occupational Therapist will also be involved in the further development of services and must be flexible to meet the needs of the System across many different facilities. PAM Health operates over 80 hospital locations and employs over 11,000 people nationwide, focusing on providing high-quality patient care and outstanding customer service.
Requirements
- Licensed as OT in the state where the hospital or clinic resides
- Current BLS certification required
Nice To Haves
- Prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn
- One (1) year of clinical experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Direct patient care
- Planning and implementing specific treatment programs in an age appropriate manner for individual patients according to the principles and practices of occupational therapy in the PAM Health System
- Involved in the further development of the services
