Overview Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation Irving, TX Occupational Therapist (OT) Monday - Friday Full Time Compensation depends upon candidate’s years of experience and internal equity. Starting salary: $75,920.00 We are seeking a compassionate and driven clinician to join our dynamic acute care and inpatient rehab teams. This unique role offers the opportunity to float between acute care and inpatient rehab, providing comprehensive services across the continuum. This role is ideal for therapists who enjoy fast-paced environments, critical thinking and daily collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Requirements
- Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Occupational Therapist required.
- Certified BLS or completion in the first 90 days of employment required.
Responsibilities
- Evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements and modifies treatment plan in accordance with the patient’s need and physician direction.
- Responsible for delegation and direction of all discipline specific therapy services for those assigned patients.
- Ensures design of functional treatment programs allowing for effective return to community activities.
- Serves as an educator of patients, families, students, coworkers and self.
- Performs other professional duties associated with the care of the patient, development of discipline specific therapy services and design of program delivery.
