About The Position

Rehab Without Walls® is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist to support our outpatient neuro rehabilitation clinic in Portland, Oregon. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, one-on-one care while working collaboratively within a skilled interdisciplinary team. You’ll help patients build independence and functional skills in a structured clinical environment designed to support recovery. This opportunity is ideal for OTs seeking PRN flexibility with meaningful clinical engagement. What You’ll Do: Deliver individualized occupational therapy interventions in an outpatient neuro rehab setting. Support patients in developing functional skills to improve independence in daily activities. Collaborate with physical therapists, speech therapists, and clinical staff to meet patient-centered goals. Provide cognitive, ADL, and functional training interventions tailored to each patient. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards. Who We’re Looking For: A licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in the state of Oregon. Experience in outpatient or neuro rehabilitation preferred. A collaborative, patient-focused professional who values clinical excellence. Availability to assist with true PRN coverage, including vacation, sick time, and additional clinic needs. Requirements

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from a college or university with an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • Current, unrestricted license as an Occupational Therapist by state in which practicing
  • Current CPR Certification
  • A minimum of one year’s work experience as an Occupational Therapist
  • Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological diagnoses preferred
  • Communicates effectively and professionally in verbal and written interaction
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Moving, lifting, or transferring of patients which may involve lifting of up to 100 pounds following safety procedures
  • Duties require fine motor skills, visual acuity, and walking/ standing for extended periods
  • Additional physical requirements include: pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching, kneeling, and positioning frequently at times

Responsibilities

  • Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans
  • Regularly re-assess effectiveness of treatment plans, attend staffing meetings and family conferences
  • Perform discharge evaluations, make appropriate recommendations for home and community safety, and provide referral and education resources
  • Communicate patient’s needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, person receiving services and family members
  • Communicates with other disciplines to ensure collaboration, coordination of care and enhance patient outcomes
