About The Position
This is an acute inpatient position within an interdisciplinary team, focused on providing Occupational Therapy services. The role involves performing evaluations, developing comprehensive plans of care, and delivering treatment to patients with a diverse range of diagnoses. A key aspect of the position is educating patients, their families, and caregivers. The successful candidate will also be responsible for completing all necessary documentation to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Professionalism, flexibility, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and problem-solving skills are highly valued.
Requirements
- BS from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Current MA license
- AHA BLS certification
- Demonstrate a high degree of professionalism and flexibility
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Organizational skills
- Problem solving skills
- Vaccination against influenza (flu) as a condition of employment
Responsibilities
- Perform evaluations for patients requiring Occupational Therapy services
- Develop a plan of care for patients requiring Occupational Therapy services
- Provide treatment for patients requiring Occupational Therapy services with a wide variety of diagnoses
- Provide patient, family and care giver education
- Complete all documentation to ensure accurate and timely information
