About The Position

Ascension Via Christi, Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking an Occupational Therapist for their Inpatient unit. This role focuses on evaluating and treating patients with physical, emotional, or cognitive deficits to restore independence and improve their overall quality of life. The therapist will design and implement personalized care plans using advanced modalities and educate families and caregivers for a successful transition home. The role also involves collaborating with and leading the clinical team, overseeing therapy assistants and technicians to maintain high standards of evidence-based practice.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Occupational Therapy (OT) credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Bachelor's degree required.

Nice To Haves

Master's OR Doctorate degree preferred
