About The Position
Work Shift: Responsible for treating assigned patients including obtaining accurate prescription, reviewing charts adequately, evaluating patient and documenting according to policy. Education & Training: Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy. Experience: One (1) year as a licensed Occupational Therapist.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy
- One (1) year as a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Current OT licensure by the Georgia State Board of Occupational Therapy
- Current AHA/ARC BLS certification
- Must obtain and maintain required ortho education/training as mandated in the Houston Healthcare Joint Destination Center of Excellence Policy
- Must complete and maintain required stroke education/training as mandated in the “HHC Primary Stroke Center / Acute Stroke Ready Designation” policy
- Utilizes a variety of therapy techniques to evaluate patients, establish a plan of care and carry out effective treatments
