About The Position

In our Occupational Therapy department, we are committed to transforming lives through personalized care, cutting-edge techniques, and a patient-centered approach. Our state-of-the-art facility is equipped with the latest technology and resources to empower our therapists to provide the best care possible. Provides occupational therapy services to inpatients of all ages from birth through geriatrics with developmentally based exceptions (children under 17 years of age with certain neurological or developmental disorders and/or infants in the nursery or NICU).

Requirements

Graduate of accredited school of Occupational Therapy required.
CPR Certification preferred.
Current (or pending) licensure in occupational therapy in the State of New Hampshire required
Experience in fabrication of static and dynamic splinting

Nice To Haves

Graston Certification – Outpatient OT
Certified Hand Therapist – Outpatient OT
Outpatient Upper Extremity/Hand Therapist preferred.

Responsibilities

Evaluates patients including subjective information, objective information, assessment, prognosis, and goals.
Develops and implements treatment plans and educational programs for patients. Updates as needed.
Processes all necessary insurance documentation
Communicates effectively with providers, staff, patients, and families
Discharges patients as appropriate
Utilizes health system electronic medical record effectively.
Demonstrates positive engagement in providing the best customer service to patients and staff
Seeks appropriate input as needed
