About The Position

This position is responsible for providing all aspects of occupational therapy services, including but not limited to: screening, examination, evaluation, care planning, treatment implementation, reassessment, discharge planning and education of pediatric through geriatric patients.

Requirements

One-year of clinical occupational therapy experience required.
Current California Occupational Therapist licensure.
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Card issued by the American Heart Association.

In lieu of this experience, consideration will be made for staff with strong education and associated experiential background.

Responsibilities

Performs an occupational therapy patient examination.
Analyzes clinical findings to determine functional status/outcome after care.
Designs an occupational therapy intervention plan.
Performs occupational therapy intervention in a competent manner.
Educates others using relevant and effective teaching methods.
Produces documentation to support the delivery of occupational therapy services.
Uses support personnel according to legal and ethical guidelines.
Manages resources/incorporates economic factors into service delivery to achieve goals.
Addresses the age specific needs of all population.
