About The Position

As an Occupational Therapist specializing in NICU care, you will play a vital role in supporting the growth and development of premature and medically complex infants during their most critical stages. You’ll design and implement individualized therapeutic interventions to address physical limitations, sensory processing challenges, and feeding difficulties—helping each baby reach their fullest potential. Beyond direct patient care, you’ll empower families through education and guidance, ensuring parents feel confident in supporting their child’s developmental needs throughout the NICU journey. Collaboration is key: you’ll work closely with an interdisciplinary team to deliver holistic, family-centered care that prioritizes safety, compassion, and excellence. This role requires adherence to all local, state, and federal regulations while maintaining the highest standards of privacy and patient safety. Requirements

  • Graduate of accredited occupational therapy program.
  • OT-Occupational Therapist OR OLP-Occupational Limited Permit.
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider.
  • 2 years of recent relevant experience.
  • Critical thinking, complex problem solving, decisive judgment and ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge and application of professional practice and regulatory requirements.
  • Must be able to work in demanding work environment, organize multiple priorities completing work duties within expected timelines and requirements.
  • Computer and required technology proficiency/competencies.
  • Demonstrates effective and efficient professional communication (verbal & written) skills as well as interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, teamwork/collaboration, customer service and community relations abilities.
  • Able to retain and apply new knowledge & skills.
