About The Position

The Occupational Therapist II provides advanced evaluation, treatment, and follow-up services to physician-referred inpatient patients at Highland Park Hospital. The role also includes preparing and maintaining accurate patient records, including evaluations, progress notes, discharge summaries, and billing, and participating in the clinical supervision of students. This is a full-time position with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., rotation into two weekend days per month, and one summer and one winter holiday. No travel is required. The hourly pay range is $39.44–$61.13, with the offered rate determined by factors including expertise and years of experience.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science from a school of Occupational Therapy, or a master's degree from an accredited college or university approved by the AOTA and the Council on Medical Education of the AMA.
Licensed or eligible for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Illinois.
BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association is required.
Inpatient Occupational Therapy experience is required.

Nice To Haves

OTR certification from NBCOT is preferred.
