About The Position

As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients regain independence and improve their quality of life. You will evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans that build or restore functional abilities, including activities of daily living, vocational skills, homemaking tasks, and overall independence for patients experiencing disabilities, injuries, illnesses, or developmental delays. Working collaboratively with patients, families, caregivers, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members, you will provide compassionate, evidence-based care that supports each patient's unique rehabilitation goals. Through skilled assessment, ongoing evaluation, patient and family education, and effective communication, you will foster trust, engagement, and positive patient outcomes. In this role, you will utilize your clinical expertise to deliver high-quality occupational therapy services while ensuring compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations, organizational policies, and professional standards. You will also provide clinical guidance and supervision to occupational therapy assistants and rehabilitation aides, helping to support excellence in patient care.

Requirements

  • Graduate of accredited occupational therapy program.
  • OT-Occupational Therapist certification.
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification.
  • 2 years of recent relevant experience.
  • Critical thinking, complex problems solving, decisive judgement and ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge and application of professional practice and regulatory requirements.
  • Must be able to work in demanding work environment, organize multiple priorities completing work duties within expected timelines and requirements.
  • Computer and required technology proficiency/competencies.
  • Demonstrates effective and efficient professional communication (verbal & written) skills as well as interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, teamwork/collaboration, customer service and community relations abilities.
  • Able to retain and apply new knowledge & skills.
  • Keeps abreast of professional practice development and advancement.
