About The Position
Alta Healthcare Services is seeking a Maryland-licensed Occupational Therapist to conduct in-home environmental assessments for Medicaid clients who require home modifications.
Requirements
- Active Maryland Occupational Therapist license.
- Experience with home safety, accessibility, aging in place, or disability assessments.
- Strong documentation and report-writing skills.
- Reliable transportation for home visits.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate clients’ functional and accessibility needs.
- Assess home safety, mobility barriers, and fall risks.
- Recommend medically necessary modifications and adaptive equipment.
- Complete clear, timely Medicaid-compliant assessment reports.
- Coordinate with clients, caregivers, contractors, and care teams as needed.
