About The Position
NurseCore is seeking an Occupational Therapist for Home Health. This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling, serving clients in Santa Barbara and surrounding areas. The role involves identifying and implementing therapy needs, working with clients and families to achieve maximum physical recovery, and coordinating with support personnel and equipment. The therapist will perform client visits, and instruct/supervise clients and other healthcare personnel.
Requirements
- Graduate with a degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Currently licensed as a Occupational Therapist in state where therapist practices.
- A minimum of one year’s experience as a Licensed Occupational Therapist in a supervised setting within the past three (3) years.
Responsibilities
- Identify, assess, and implement therapy needs as appropriate including development of Plan of Care treatments and goals
- Work with client and client's family members to achieve maximum physical recovery
- Identify and secure necessary support personnel, supplies and equipment
- Perform client visits as directed in Plan of Care
- Instruct and supervise clients and other health care personnel including Occupational Therapy Assistants
