About The Position

Dignity Health, part of Select Medical Corporation’s Outpatient Division, is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist specializing in hand therapy at its outpatient location in Henderson, Nevada. The therapist provides individualized evaluation and treatment services designed to maximize patient functionality and promote well-being. The role includes developing treatment plans, supervising assistants and aides, contributing to case management, and maintaining positive relationships with facilities, clients, and their staff. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 40 hours weekly. The pay range is $80,000–$108,000 depending on experience, with a $16,000 sign-on bonus and $350 monthly student loan assistance.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy.
Within the last two years, completed a minimum of a Level II clinical rotation or fieldwork in hand therapy specific to the application of custom splinting in pre- and post-operative orthopedics.
National registration and state licensure or registration.
Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
Valid state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Evaluate patients and develop plans of care for high-quality hand therapy services.
Provide treatment, re-evaluation, and discharge services, and communicate appropriately with patients and customers.
Develop treatment plans and supervise assistants and aides.
Contribute to case management and provide quality patient care.
