About The Position

As an Occupational Therapist Feeding Specialist, you will play a crucial role in assessing and treating children with feeding difficulties, collaborating with families and caregivers, and providing compassionate, evidence-based therapy interventions.

Requirements

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Minnesota Department of Health Occupational Therapy License (or in process of applying for state license)
2 years' experience in pediatric feeding therapy
Passionate about helping children shine
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously with confidence and in a team environment

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate feeding difficulties in children.
Develop and implement individualized feeding therapy plans tailored to each child’s unique needs and goals.
Provide hands-on therapy sessions using a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities.
Collaborate closely with parents, caregivers, and other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to therapy.
Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and treatment plans.
Stay current with best practices and advancements in the field of pediatric feeding therapy through continuing education and professional development.
