Responsible for the delivery of treatment services to children ranging in ages from 0-21 years, evaluation services, and job-related department responsibilities. This role involves understanding and promoting Elizabeth Seton Children’s Mission, Vision, and Core Values, providing treatment for 10-12 patients per day, and supervising student interns. The Occupational Therapist will conduct initial evaluations and re-evaluations, develop and review patient care plans, participate in clinical quality assurance, and provide patient education. Reporting activities include daily notations, progress reports, and participation in rehabilitation rounds and staff conferences. Compliance with all established ESCR policies and procedures regarding quality assurance, safety, infection control, confidentiality, customer service, attendance, and professional conduct is required. Participation in department in-services and staff development is also expected.
