Requirements

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Minnesota Department of Health Occupational Therapy License (or in process of applying for state license)
Passionate about helping children shine
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously with confidence and in a team environment

Nice To Haves

Minimal to no prior experience in emotional regulation therapy (opportunity for training provided)

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate emotional regulation difficulties in children.
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each child’s unique needs and goals.
Provide hands-on therapy sessions using a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities.
Collaborate closely with parents, caregivers, and other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to therapy.
Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and treatment plans.
Stay current with best practices and advancements in the field of pediatric emotional regulation therapy through continuing education and professional development.
