About The Position

Under the direction of the Primary Health Care Manager and Primary Health Care Director, the Senior Occupational Therapist directs, supervises, and promotes the activities of the designated service within the occupational therapy department to ensure that patients referred to the service receive high quality occupational therapy and that students assigned to that service receive high quality clinical education. Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement. Requirements

  • Bachelor of Occupational Therapy
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
  • Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
  • Advanced - Leadership skills
  • Basic - Communication skills
  • Advanced - Organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Registered/eligible with Canadian Association of Occupational Therapy (CAOT)
  • Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan Society of Occupational Therapists
