About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our school-based team in Newport, NH. The OTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to support students’ functional skills, independence, and participation in the educational environment.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Current NH licensure/certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred.
Responsibilities
- Implement treatment plans designed by the supervising Occupational Therapist.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in school settings.
- Assist with documentation of student progress and maintain compliance with state and district requirements.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to promote student success.
