About The Position
Sobe Innovative Rehab is seeking a compassionate, licensed COTA to provide skilled occupational therapy services in patients' homes. Join our team and help older adults maintain their independence, improve their quality of life, and remain safely in their homes through exceptional geriatric care.
Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Active Florida COTA license
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Compassionate approach to working with geriatric patients
Nice To Haves
- Two years of clinical experience preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled occupational therapy treatments under the established plan of care
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients' functional independence and safety
- Communicate with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary care team
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Recommend and/or provide appropriate treatment equipment and adaptive devices as needed
- Educate patients and caregivers on strategies to support independence and safety at home
