About The Position

TheraDynamics is a therapist-owned rehabilitation company with over 20 years of experience serving the Tri-State area. In the skilled nursing setting, the Occupational Therapist Assistant helps patients regain independence in activities that define their lives, including patients recovering from strokes, hip fractures, cardiac events, and progressive neurological conditions. The role supports functional interventions for activities of daily living, cognitive retraining, upper-extremity rehabilitation, and safe discharge planning. The assistant works with the Occupational Therapist to provide safe and effective patient evaluation and treatment, develop individualized treatment plans focused on functional independence, and coordinate care with nursing, physical therapy, speech-language pathology, and social work. Treatment may address self-care skills, cognitive and perceptual deficits, home safety, adaptive equipment needs, and caregiver training. TheraDynamics describes its caseloads as manageable, its clinical autonomy as meaningful, and its productivity expectations as realistic, with tools and support for therapists’ work.
