About The Position
To provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist for the Infants & Toddlers Program.
Requirements
- Successful completion of two-year college degree program for Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants.
- Eligibility for licensure in the state of Maryland.
- Experience working with young children.
- Knowledge of technology applications such as Microsoft Word.

- Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Implements occupational therapy services on an Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP) after completion of an evaluation and development of IFSP by a licensed occupational therapist.
- Participates in the development and review of Individual Family Service Plans.
- Collects data for progress monitoring of children’s development and family outcomes on IFSP.
- Provides family coaching and support to families of children with IFSPs.
- Collaborates with occupational therapist to conduct authentic assessments to support the development of family outcomes on an IFSP.
- Completes necessary documents to ensure compliance with COMAR and IDEA as well as Medical Assistance.
- Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
