About The Position
EDU-AIDS is hiring a Full-Time Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join a supportive school district in Akron, OH 44320. This position is for the 2026-2027 school year and operates on a Monday-Friday schedule during school hours.
Requirements
- Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Active Ohio Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA/COTA) License
- NBCOT Certification (COTA)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Nice To Haves
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Assist students in developing fine motor, sensory, self-care, and functional skills
- Implement individualized treatment plans and therapy activities
- Document student progress and maintain accurate therapy records
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and the multidisciplinary team
