About The Position

The Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) provides therapeutic treatments/modalities to patients to optimize functional recovery and minimize disability as directed by the licensed Occupational Therapist.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree-Associate of Applied Science and successful completion of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) program
  • Valid MS State Department of Health (MDH) Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) license; or limited 90-day permit issued by MDH; Limited permit must be obtained and submitted prior to hire date.
  • Valid Driver's License required for positions assigned to Outpatient Physician Clinics

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year of clinical experience in a hospital or rehabilitation setting
