Requirements
- Graduate of an ACOTE approved occupational therapy assistant program
- Current or pending state licensure
- Basic Life Support certification
Responsibilities
- Prepare equipment for treatment and assist an Occupational Therapist with rehabilitative activities for patients
- Establish strong relationships with each patient so that they have the ability to exceed their functional goals
- Demonstrate a positive connection with patients, patient families, fellow clinicians, and other hospital team members
- Build and maintain relationships throughout the hospital (e.g., physicians, case management, nurses, etc.)
