About The Position
Interim HealthCare is hiring a Home Health Occupational Therapist Assistant to serve patients in East Miami, from Aventura to Coral Gables. The role offers flexible assignments and the ability to set your own schedule while providing personalized, home-based therapy. The assistant works with patients who are unable to perform daily tasks because of illness or injury, supporting their care plans and personal goals as part of a home health team. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy education program.
- Active Florida OTA license.
- At least 2 years of occupational therapy experience.
- CPR certification.
- Knowledge of state and federal home health regulations.
- Good clinical judgment, strong interpersonal skills, resourcefulness, and compassion.

Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy to patients unable to perform daily tasks due to illness or injury.
- Work as part of a home health team that may include an RN, LPN, CNA, HHA, PT, and SLP, focused on the patient’s plan of care and personal goals.
- Teach task-oriented therapeutic activities.
- Assist patients with exercises to improve fine motor skills and coordination.
- Educate patients and families about the plan of care, exercises, goals, and self-care.
