About The Position
ProgressiveHealth of Indiana is looking for a PRN Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our healthcare professional team in Marion, IL. This location is home to a busy acute care department. We support our PRN team by sourcing for all part-time and full-time positions internally, before placing an advertisement. New grads are welcome to apply! This is a great way to get clinical experience in a new setting. This position will include a weekend rotation of a one full weekend or 2 single weekend days, per month.
Requirements
- Illinois Occupational Therapy Assistant License or ability to obtain Illinois Occupational Therapy Assistant License
- Associate's or higher degree as an Occupational Therapist Assistant
- Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without requiring current or future sponsorship for an employment visa (e.g., H-1B, OPT, etc.)
Responsibilities
- Providing medically prescribed occupational therapy treatment for patients suffering from injuries, or muscle, nerve, joint and bone diseases
- Restores function
- Relieve pains
- Prevents disability
- All functions performed under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
