Performs a range of Occupational Therapy services including evaluation, planning, and implementation of individualized treatment plans for patients across various functional domains. This role involves interpreting provider referrals, evaluating patients in areas such as independent living skills, occupational performance, prevocational work adjustment, educational skills, play-leisure abilities, social skills, and psychosocial skills. The therapist will develop and implement individualized treatment plans with regular assessment of progress, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Education of patients and their families about their condition, treatment plan, and home management strategies is also a key responsibility, along with collaboration with other healthcare professionals for comprehensive care and attendance at departmental meetings.
