Requirements

  • B. S. Degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy.
  • Licensed as an Occupational Therapist by the Georgia State Board of Occupational Therapy
  • Must be certified in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for all age groups.
  • Must have 2 years of licensed clinical experience.
  • Internal candidate must attain 3.25 PE (prior year), no disciplinary action on file, and no red rule violation.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and other government regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and administers occupational therapy programs and treatments for inpatients and outpatients of age groups defined by clinical competency which may include neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric populations.
  • The duties of this position require patient and family education and the exercise of courtesy and patience in speaking with and assisting patients, families, medical personnel and others in order to provide quality customer service.
