This role involves designing customized rehabilitation journeys to empower patients to reclaim their independence and master daily living activities. The Occupational Therapist will lead evidence-based therapeutic interventions addressing physical, cognitive, and emotional barriers for holistic patient recovery. They will also empower families and caregivers through education, mentor Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and support staff, and advocate for patient progress by refining care plans and documenting milestones for safe discharge.
