About The Position
Independent Health System seeks an Occupational Medicine Physician to work in Findlay, OH. This is a hybrid clinical/leadership role within a nonprofit, physician-led health system. The position offers a $300K base salary and a $100K signing bonus. The health system is a 6-time recipient of IBM Watson Health, a 150-bed Level III Trauma Center, and is located close to Detroit and Toledo, with many large local companies and 8 universities in the area. The group is known for its new facilities, high retention, and physician autonomy.
Requirements
- MD/DO
- Board certification in Urgent, Emergency, Family, Internal, or Occupational Medicine
- MRO certification preferred, or willingness to obtain
Nice To Haves
- Medical Review Officer (MRO) certification preferred
Responsibilities
- 80% clinical practice / 20% administrative leadership
- Clinical split: 50% Urgent Care, 30% Occupational Health
- Provide occupational medicine services including work-related injury care, occupational physicals, and return-to-work evaluations
- Develop clinical policies/protocols
- Oversee quality initiatives and OPPE processes
- Collaborate with and support APPs
- Train and onboard new providers
- Partner with operational leaders on service line goals
