Occupational Medicine Physician - Medical Director
About The Position
Independent Health System seeks an Occupational Medicine Physician to work in Findlay, OH. This is a hybrid clinical/leadership role within a nonprofit, physician-led health system. The position involves 80% clinical practice and 20% administrative leadership. The clinical split includes 50% Urgent Care and 30% Occupational Health services, such as work-related injury care, occupational physicals, and return-to-work evaluations. Medical Director duties encompass developing clinical policies and protocols, overseeing quality initiatives and OPPE processes, collaborating with and supporting APPs, training and onboarding new providers, and partnering with operational leaders on service line goals.
Requirements
- MD/DO
- Board certification in Urgent, Emergency, Family, Internal, or Occupational Medicine
- MRO certification preferred, or willingness to obtain
Nice To Haves
- Medical Review Officer (MRO) certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Develop clinical policies/protocols

Benefits
- Base salary: $300,000
- Signing bonus: $100,000
- Relocation assistance: $10,000
- 200 hours PTO/CME (5 weeks)
