About The Position

This is an exceptional full-time opportunity for a motivated Physician Assistant to join our Occupational Health Team, providing services at the Manhattan Occupational Health Clinic with periodic coverage at the National Bio and Agro-Defense Facility (NBAF). The role involves providing high-quality occupational health services to Manhattan-area companies and fulfilling a part-time role serving NBAF employees, researchers, maintenance, and animal handlers. Responsibilities include evaluating, diagnosing, and managing work-related illnesses and injuries, performing preventative health assessments, screenings, and immunizations, and maintaining accurate and timely medical documentation. The position is an employed role within a nonprofit health system and is eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration.

Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Physician Assistant credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
• Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
